Its always busy around here! I waited for like 2 hours for the homeless guy to come back to his spot, but I didn't get so lucky. Only time and determination will get me that photograph of him if he lets me. All his stuff was there. He has a bike with a bag on the front of it, some tarps, and maybe a few clothes. Really, how does this man survive with the weather the way it is. He sleeps on the ground without any padding or anything. Warmth? Well maybe the tarps will so something, but I did not see a blanket. But as I was waiting on this bridge I decided to take some pictures while I waited. I walked towards Georgetown, almost got hit by a car, seen another homeless guy get mad because some lady wouldn't give him money, and was freezing. In the city, people are terrible drivers and finding a good one out of the thousands would be like "finding a needle in a haystack". I enjoy the large numbers of people walking in every direction, all the car horns, and people yelling and trying to sell you things. I just can't believe that I am living here. People come here to visit this great place and I get to wake up to it everyday. It is overwhelming and every day on my way to the metro I still can't believe it. Tomorrow is a new day and I plan on going to the WhiteHouse, Washington Monument, and some other stops along the way.
